What is Ashoxy 1000®?

Ashoxy 1000® is a potent antibacterial medication belonging to the tetracycline group, specifically formulated for effective treatment and prevention of various bacterial infections.

Composition:

Each tablet of Ashoxy 1000® contains:

• Oxytetracycline Hydrochloride.....................1000 mg

Indications:

Ashoxy 1000® demonstrates remarkable efficacy against a wide spectrum of bacterial microorganisms. It is commonly prescribed for the treatment of the following bacterial infections:

• Bacterial enteritis caused by E.Coli, Salmonella, and Cholerae suis in cattle
• Bacterial pneumonia caused by Pasteurella multoclda in cattle
• Respiratory infections, necrobacteriosis, abscesses, wound infections, postoperative/postpartum infections, mastitis, keratoconjunctivitis in cattle
• Enzootic abortions, pneumonia, peritonitis, foot rot, mastitis, umbilical sepsis, purulent arthritis, postoperative/wound/postpartum infections in sheep and goats
• Respiratory infections, MMA syndrome (mastitis-metritis-agalactia), swine erysipelas, mastitis, umbilical sepsis, purulent arthritis, atrophic rhinitis, abscesses, and postoperative/wound/postpartum infections in pigs

Dosage and Administration:

The recommended dosage of Ashoxy 1000® should be determined by a qualified veterinarian based on the animal's weight, species, and the severity of the infection. The typical dosage and administration guidelines are as follows:

• Cattle, horses: 1 tablet per 100 kg body weight twice daily.
• Sheep, goats: 1 tablet per 50 kg body weight twice daily.

Withdrawal Period:

• Cattle, horses: 6 days.
• Sheep and goats: 14 days.
