What is Meloxicam Oral Suspension?
Meloxicam Oral Suspension is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) formulated specifically for dogs. It belongs to the oxicam class of medications and works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, which are responsible for inflammation, pain, and fever.

Indications:
Meloxicam Oral Suspension is indicated for alleviating inflammation and pain associated with both acute and chronic musculo-skeletal disorders in dogs.
Dosage and Administration:
Metaflam oral suspension can be given using a dropper bottle: Four drops for each kilogram of bodyweight on the first day and two drops for each kilogram of bodyweight daily as a maintenance dose.

Before administering Meloxicam Oral Suspension to your dog, inform your veterinarian if your dog:

- Repeated use in cats has been linked to acute renal failure and death. Do not administer to cats.
- Not for human use. Keep out of reach of children.
- Consult a physician immediately if accidentally ingested by humans.
- For oral use in dogs only.
- Dogs with known hypersensitivity to meloxicam should not receive this medication.
- Appropriate laboratory testing is recommended before and during administration.
